Once Parity Builder has found a solution with which you are satisfied, you will want to preserve it. One approach is to click somewhere in the first roster on the Assignments tab, then click on the Edit menu and choose Select all (or press Control-A) followed by Copy (or Control-C). You can then paste the contents of the Assignments tab into another program. Unfortunately, the contents will be unformatted, so you may need to do some editing to make it useful. Also, you can only copy one roster at a time, so you will need to repeat this once for each roster.
You may prefer to export the entire set of rosters as a comma-separated-value (CSV) file. Click on the File menu, select Export rosters (which is only available when you have a solution in memory), pick a location to save the file and name for the file, and click Save. You should be able to open the CSV file in any spreadsheet program and in many word processing programs. What you will find is a table of individuals sorted by roster, with the roster number in the first column, and with a blank row after each roster. The entry for each individual will consist of all the attributes for that individual, with the attributes listed in alphabetical order. Try this now with the solution to the tutorial example.
You have now successfully concluded the tutorial.
